In the fifth and decisive game of the final series Friedrichshafen has defeated BR Volleys and therefore stopped the domination of the Berlin squad in German volleyball. Recall that BR Volleys won the last three championships, but the title now returns to Friedrichshafen.
The hero of the day was Adrian Radu Gontariu. The strong opposite scored last two points on the match, both with very powerful spikes.
This is the 13th championship title for Friedrichshafen, the club with the most trophies in Germany.
