Defending champs Berlin Recycling Volleys defeated TSV Herrsching by a 3-1 (25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20) with 18 points from an Australian opposite Paul Carroll and 88% excellent attack by the Serbian middle blocker Aleksandar Okolić (7/8; 12 points). Christoph Marks noted 12 points for the losing side.
VfB Friedrichshafen achieved a straight-set triumph against Netzhoppers SolWo K., making +33 point difference by a team. The Pole Bartłomiej Bołądź and Norwegian Andreas Takvam scored 11 points apiece for the Bundesliga runners-up.
