BR-Volleys
The second-seed Berlin Recycling Volleys laid a solid the foundation for the eighth consecutive participation in the Bundesliga playoff finals. They ran over No.3 United Volleys Rhein-Main by a 3-0, partially 25-21, 25-12, 25-17.
The Australian Paul Carroll was the best scorer for BR Volleys with 16 points, while Canadian Graham Vigrass added 4 kill blocks. Carroll’s compatriot Lincoln Williams topped United Volleys with 11 points.
Game 2 of the best-of-three semifinals is scheduled for April 18.
