After prevailing in Game 2 on the road against the second seed P.A.O.K, the No.1 seed Olympiacos S.F.P. gained, what might turn out, a decisive advantage in the series of the 2018/19 Volley League Pame Stoixima playoff finals.

Olympiacos won by a 3-1, coming back from a set down: 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-15, mostly thanks to the experienced Dutch outside hitter Jeroen Rauwerdink who scored 22 points. His compatriot Niels Klapwijk noted 23 points on the other side.

The series now returns to Olympiacos’ home ground, Melina Merkouri Hall in Rethymno, with Game 3 (May 12). In case they win it, Olympiacos will defend the championship title.
