All three games were played at the Sport Eko sports hall in Belgrade. In the first match, Greece won by 3:1 (25-19, 25-19, 25-18, 21-25). In the second, the Greeks achieved another victory, this time by a narrow 3:2 (25-22, 13-25, 17-25, 25-21, 17-15). In the third match, the hosts from Serbia finally managed to defeat Greece, coming back from two sets down in another exciting five-setter for the eventual 3:2 (24-26, 13-25, 25-14, 25-19, 15-9).
Hungary will entertain Serbia, Finland and Slovenia for the matches in Pool D scheduled for April 25, 26 and 27 at the Sportcsarnok in Dunaujvaros, while Greece will play in Pool F at the Hristo Botev volleyball hall in Sofia against England, the Netherlands and hosts Bulgaria.
