Giánnis Charitonídis has been appointed as the new head coach of the Panathinaikos women’s volleyball team, succeeding Dragan Nesic.

The club moved swiftly to fill the vacancy, opting for a domestic solution despite initial discussions with foreign candidates. Charitonidis, an coach with a solid track record in Greek volleyball, steps into his role just ahead of a match against AEK at the Mets Indoor Arena.
