Olympiacos and Panathinaikos closed out the fifth round of the Greek Women’s Volleyball League with strong, hard-earned victories.

Olympiacos defeated Panionios 3–1, powered by another stellar night from last year’s MVP Milica Kubura, who finished with 28 points. Riding the momentum of their Champions League qualification, the Reds claimed their fourth win in five matches and climbed to the top of the table.
Panionios briefly threatened to push the match to a tie-break, especially in the fourth set when they led 16–17, but Kubura stepped up with key points to seal the win for Olympiacos.
In the other match, Panathinaikos edged ZAON 3–2 after a tense, back-and-forth battle.
Martina Samadan (23 points) and Haylie Bennett (20 points) led the way for the Greens. Panathinaikos closed the final set 15–11 to secure their fifth victory of the season.
