Panathinaikos took another important step toward finishing top of the regular season standings with a 3-1 win over a competitive OFI side.

The hosts started strong, claiming the opening set with solid serve and effective attacking. OFI responded in the second set, taking advantage of errors to level the match at 1-1.
The third set proved decisive. In a tense battle that went to 30-28, Panathinaikos held its nerve, with a block from Patrick Pat Gasman shifting the momentum. The Greens then stayed composed in the fourth set to seal the win 25-22.
Athanásios Protopsáltis was named MVP after scoring 15 points. Theódoros Voulkídis added 16, while
Matej Mihajlovič stood out for OFI with 20 points.
After the match, Panathinaikos coach Dimitris Andreopoulos called it “a tough game,” stressing that the title race remains a marathon. OFI coach Giannis Kalmazidis praised his team’s effort despite the defeat.
