PAOK defeated Olympiacos O.S. Piraeus at home with 3-1 (25-16, 33-31, 20-25, 25-23) but the guests made some big mistakes at critical points of the game, especially in the second set that ended with an unsually high result – 33-31. Olympiacos had 2-6, 4-8 and 13-16 lead. Also it missed the counter attack at 26-27 and three set balls as well.
PAOK won as much as 10 points from aces, while Olympiacos had 11 blocks.
Gómez scored 36 for the winning team. Diachkov collected 23 in Olympiacos.
