P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki are playing their best volleyball this season right on time – in the semifinals of the playoffs in Greece!

Althought it seemed that reigning champions will give away their throne after losing every single game to Olympicaos O.S. Piraeus in regular season (in all competitions), they raised from the ashes against same rivals in playoff semis.

PAOK took Game 1 on road (3-1) and did it once again in Game 2 after epic turnaround. They were trailing 2-0 in sets and 12-8 in tie-break – 3-2 (25-27, 21-25, 25-20, 25-20, 16-14)!

Now, „Black and White“ team is in a huge advantage since the series is moving to Thessaloniki and they need only one more win to advance into big finals.

The Cuban Rolando Cepeda scored 33 points for the winning team while Latvian Hermans Egleskalns collected 27 in Olympiacos.
