by WoV

PAOK defeated Olympiacos on the road in Game 3 of the 2016/17 Greek Championship Finals and took the lead in the series - 2-1! Now, the reigning champions will have a match point at home court as the next game will be played in Thessaloniki.

Still, despite a thrilling battle in Game 3, everyone in Greece is talking about the incident when Olympiacos player Liberman Agamez attacked PAOK middle blocker Andreas Andreadis. Luckily, their teammates were there to calm the things down.

After the match, Agamez apologized to Andreadis:

“I ask forgiveness from the volleyball fans and from Andreadis. I know Andreas for many years and we have great friendship. I do not want that this happen ever again,” said Agamez.
