Blengini
This is the conclusion of the meeting between the Italian Volleyball Federation and current head coach Gianlorenzo Blengini:
„The idea of the Federation is to respect the contract until 2020 with an extension option.“
Blengini has started working on his plan for 2019 and will have two goals: to qualify for the Olympic Games in 2019 and the second one is to include several young Italians in the next FIVB Nations Volleyball League.
There were some talks about foreign rule in the Italian Serie A1. Of course, they discussed decreasing the number of foreigners…
Recall that Italy didn’t manage to reach the semifinals of the World Championship 2018…
