After a surprising defeat in Round 3 of the 2020/21 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season from Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia, Allianz Milano returned to the winning track and did it over the title contenders Leo Shoes Modena, on the road: 3-1 (26-24, 25-19, 20-25, 26-24). Furthermore, it was Milano’s first win against Modena as visitors. On the other hand, Modena suffered already a second defeat in four games in the competition. The Frenchman Jean Patry (23 points) and Japanese Yuki Ishikawa (22 points) led Milano in scoring today.

Sir Safety Conad Perugia and Cucine Lube Civitanova swept their rivals in away games to reach 4-0 apiece and keep the two top spots in the charts, respectively, with the team coached by Vital Heynen having one point more (12 vs. 11).

Itas Trentino dispelled doubts on their range in the championship by beating Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza in three sets and broke a two-game losing streak.

Beating Top Volley Cisterna with a 3-0, Consar Ravenna recorded their first success this season, nailing their rivals to the bottom of the charts (0-4).
