Carlotta Cambi is back in the jersey of the Italian women’s volleyball top division side, Igor Gorgonzola Novara.
Cambi will complete the setter department at Novara for the current season, thus replacing the injured Jordyn Poulter (the season is over for an American player). The 26-year-old player already wore Novara’s jersey. It was in 2016–17, a season when the club won the Italian Championship. In the meantime, Cambi defended the colors of four Serie A teams. She came to Novara from Il Bisonte Firenze.
Cambi is a former Italy National Team member who can boast of winning the CEV Champions League and an Italian Super Cup with Trasportipesanti Casalmaggiore in 2015-16.
