ITA W: Milano Triumphs in Super Marathon Against Casalmaggiore, Successes for Rome and Vallefoglia

In an exciting weekend for Serie A1 Tigotà volleyball, Milano emerged victorious in a super marathon against Casalmaggiore, while Rome and Vallefoglia secured important victories over Cuneo and Firenze, respectively. Busto Arsizio, however, succumbed to Chieri in a closely contested match.

Highlights of the weekend include Rome Volley Club’s comeback victory (3-1) over Honda Olivero S.Bernardo Cuneo, featuring standout performances from MVP Melli and Rivero. Vallefoglia’s Megabox Ond. Savio team also triumphed (3-1) over Il Bisonte Florence, led by captain Kosheleva and MVP Aleksic.

In other matches, Volley Bergamo 1991 defeated Itas Trentino 3-0, with Lorrayna being the MVP. In contrast, UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio lost to Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76.

The Lombardy derby between Allianz Vero Volley Milan and TrasportiPesanti Casalmaggiore was a nail-biter, ending in a decisive 15-2 set victory for Milan, led by Egonu and MVP Rettke.

In the featured match, Igor Gorgonzola Novara faced off against Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano, with Conegliano winning 1-3. The match was highlighted by Conegliano’s strong serve performance, including 13 aces.
