Meanwhile, Rome fortified their eighth position with a victory over Wash4Green Pinerolo in a thrilling five-set match.
Casalmaggiore’s victory over UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio by a 3-1 scoreline at the E-Work Arena marked important moment for the team, distancing themselves by seven points from the relegation zone. Standout performances by Smarzek, with 23 points and the MVP award, and Lee, contributing 25 points, were pivotal for Casalmaggiore. On the other hand, Busto Arsizio couldn’t leverage the efforts of Bracchi and Sartori.
