Julio Velasco, the head coach of Italy’s women’s national volleyball team, has reduced the roster following the first VNL tournament. The Italian Volleyball Federation officially announced that outside hitter Elena Pietrini has left the team’s training camp. After a series of thorough medical examinations and physical tests, it was determined that Pietrini is not fit to continue her activities with the national team.
