Vero Volley Monza has wrapped up their tour in South Korea, marking an important milestone in their preseason preparations. From September 3 to September 9, the team engaged in various activities, culminating in two challenging matches against local teams, Korean Air Jumbos and the KOVO All-Star Team. Despite the defeats, the matches provided valuable insights into the team’s readiness for the upcoming Supercoppa Italiana on September 21-22.
In addition to the on-court action, the tour celebrated the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Korea and highlighted cultural exchanges, including visits to Suwon and meetings with Korean volleyball fans. This experience allowed the team to immerse themselves in the local culture while fine-tuning their skills ahead of the season’s start.
With two weeks remaining before their first official competition, Vero Volley Monza will continue to work hard to ensure a strong start to the season.
