The final was a rollercoaster from the start. Trentino, missing opposite Kamil Rychlicki due to injury in the semifinal, found a strong replacement in Gabi Garcia, who led his team with 24 points. Perugia’s Japanese star, Yuki Ishikawa, was the standout player, earning the Del Monte® MVP award. Ishikawa scored 20 points, including key plays that propelled his team to victory. He played a crucial role in both the semifinal and the final, leading Perugia’s offense with a 47% attack efficiency and two blocks.

Perugia’s overall performance was bolstered by a strong team effort, finishing the match with five aces, nine blocks, and a 50% attack success rate. With over 3,800 fans packing the venue, the atmosphere was electric, especially with Perugia supporters celebrating their team’s remarkable comeback.
