Monza’s Luka Marttila, who entered the match in the third set, earned MVP honors by contributing 12 points. Teammates Arthur Szwarcz (12 points), and Ivan Zaytsev (11) were instrumental in securing the win. For Taranto, Filippo Lanza led all scorers with 21 points.
Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza continued their form with a convincing 3-0 victory over Allianz Milano (25-20, 25-19, 25-17). Stephen Maar topped Piacenza’s scoring with 14 points, while Efe Mandirsci added 12 and Yuri Romanò contributed 11. Milano’s Yacine Louati was the standout for his team with 16 points, followed by Matey Kaziyski with 9.
Itas Trentino overcame an early setback to defeat Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina 3-1 (22-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-23). Alessandro Michieletto delivered an MVP performance with 25 points. Giulio Magalini contributed 15 points, and Gabi Garcia added 12 for Trentino. Grottazzolina’s Gabriel Cvachniger scored 17 points, Tatarov added 13, and Antonov contributed 12.
Cisterna Volley secured their first win of the season by defeating Sonepar Padova 3-1 (25-21, 19-25, 25-23, 25-18). Efe Bayram of Cisterna scored 12 points, Jordi Ramón added 11 points, and Théo Faure contributed 10. Padova’s Luca Porro was the top scorer for his team with 16 points, while Veljko Masulovic tallied 15 and Marko Sedlacek had 12.
In an earlier match, Valsa Group Modena edged out Rana Verona in a five-set battle (22-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-21, 15-12).
