Sir Susa Vim Perugia defeated Allianz Milano 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 28-30, 15-25) at the Unipol Forum in Assago, with nearly 9,000 spectators setting the stage for a thrilling encounter. After a strong start by Milan, Perugia’s lethal serve game, led by Oleh Plotnytskyi with five aces, turned the tide. Plotnytskyi’s 21 points earned him the MVP award, while teammate Kamil Semeniuk contributed 15 points. Despite flashes of brilliance from Milan’s Reggers and Kaziyski, the league leaders continued their unbeaten run.

Taranto Shocks Civitanova in an Electrifying Tie-Break
In the most dramatic match of the round, Gioiella Prisma Taranto overturned a two-set deficit to beat Cucine Lube Civitanova 3-2 (19-25, 21-25, 31-29, 25-20, 15-11). Tim Held, stepping up in the absence of Lanza, delivered an unforgettable performance with 25 points to secure the MVP title. Taranto’s spirited comeback, backed by Gironi’s 18 points, denied Civitanova, despite Lagumdzija’s impressive 20-point effort.
