ITA W: Conegliano Celebrates Again, Perugia Wins Key Survival Clash

The midweek matches of Serie A1 Tigotà’s 22nd round delivered some intense action, with Conegliano dominating Milano once again and Perugia securing a crucial win in the relegation battle.

Fresh off their Coppa Italia triumph, Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano swept Numia Vero Volley Milano 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-16) at a packed Palaverde. Despite lineup changes on both sides, Conegliano controlled the match, led by Lubian (14 points, 80% attack, 2 aces, 3 blocks) and Haak (12 points). Milano’s Egonu finished with 11 points but struggled with efficiency (6%).

Savino Del Bene Scandicci took advantage of Milano’s loss, reclaiming second place with a 3-0 win over Smi Roma Volley. Antropova starred with 21 points (1 ace, 5 blocks), while MVP Bajema added 12 points.

Igor Gorgonzola Novara continued their strong form, cruising past Cda Volley Talmassons FVG (3-0) in just over an hour. Tolok (13 points, 63% reception) and Aleksic (11 points, 2 aces, 3 blocks) led the way.

At the E-Work Arena, Eurotek Uyba Busto Arsizio overpowered Honda Olivero Cuneo 3-0. Meanwhile, Wash4Green Pinerolo edged Bergamo 3-1 in a tight battle, with Smarzek scoring 23 points.

In the relegation fight, Bartoccini-Mc Restauri Perugia stunned Il Bisonte Firenze 3-1 after a rough start (13-25 in the first set). Németh led with 25 points (3 blocks). Firenze’s Malual and Davyskiba each scored 15 but couldn’t stop Perugia’s comeback.
