After dropping the first set, Perugia fought back, winning a dramatic second set 32-30 before sealing the victory. Simone Giannelli was everywhere, earning the MVP title with a stellar all-around performance.
Meanwhile, Itas Trentino made quick work of Cisterna, proving why they are the defending European champions. After a tight first set, they shifted into high gear, cruising to a straight-sets win. Kamil Rychlicki stole the show, leading the attack with 18 points and securing the MVP award.
