Today’s Serie A1 Tigotà Playoff Quarterfinals concluded with no surprises, as the top-ranked teams Conegliano, Scandicci, and Milano all secured convincing wins, taking a 1-0 lead in their respective series.

Conegliano Cruises Past Bergamo

At Palaverde, Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano made quick work of Bergamo, winning 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-16) in just over an hour. With captain Wolosz resting, Nanami Seki stepped in and delivered a standout performance, earning MVP honors. Isabelle Haak dominated with 18 points and 6 blocks, while Monica De Gennaro reached 630 career appearances, tying Francesca Piccinini’s record. Bergamo will need a major turnaround in Game 2, set for Sunday at their brand-new Chorus Life Arena.

Scandicci Handles Busto Arsizio

At Palazzo Wanny, Savino Del Bene Scandicci took down Eurotek Uyba Busto Arsizio 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-14, 25-17). Despite losing the second set, the home team bounced back thanks to an unstoppable Ekaterina Antropova (MVP with 27 points and a 57% attack efficiency). Carol (14 points) and Mingardi (11 points) also played key roles. Game 2 is set for Sunday at 15:30 CET at the E-Work Arena, where Busto will look to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Milano Sweeps Vallefoglia

At Allianz Cloud, Numia Vero Volley Milano shut down Megabox Ond. Savio Vallefoglia with a 3-0 sweep (25-22, 25-16, 25-16). After a competitive first set, Milano took complete control, dominating at the net (42% attack vs. 15% for Vallefoglia). Hena Kurtagic was a wall at the net, earning MVP with 6 blocks and 11 total points. Egonu (17 points, 3 blocks) and Sylla (13 points, 3 aces) led the offensive charge. Game 2 will be Sunday at 16:30 CET at the Vitrifrigo Arena in Pesaro.
