The Courmayeur Cup final is set: Igor Gorgonzola Novara and Savino Del Bene Scandicci will battle for the title.
Novara struck first in the opening semifinal, stunning Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano 3-1. A well-rounded attack powered the win, with Tolok (19 points), Alsmeier (13), and Ishikawa (11) all delivering, while Sara Bonifacio added 12 including four blocks. Conegliano, less sharp than usual, leaned heavily on Haak’s 22 points, supported by Daalderop and Zhu with 10 each.
Later, Scandicci overcame Vero Volley Milano 3-1. Avery Skinner led with 23 points, closely followed by Ekaterina Antropova with 22. Milano pushed back thanks to Paola Egonu’s 26 points and Lanier’s 8, but Scandicci’s serving strength proved decisive in the fourth set.
