ITA M: Road Teams Sweep SuperLega’s 10th Round

Visiting teams dominated the 10th round of the SuperLega Credem Banca on Sunday, with Perugia, Trento, Verona and Piacenza all claiming victories. The round concludes Monday when Padova hosts Monza in a important matchup for mid-table positioning.

Itas Trentino opened the day with a 3–0 win over Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, taking all three sets by identical 25–18 scores behind 18 points from Alessandro Michieletto and a barrage of 13 team aces. Last-place Grottazzolina remains winless heading into next weekend.

Sir Susa Scai Perugia rolled past Allianz Milano 3–0, closing out the first half of its season with a dominant road performance.

Rana Verona posted another strong result with a 3–0 sweep at MA Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo. Keita, Darlan and Mozic paced Verona’s balanced attack, offsetting a match-high 18 points from Cuneo’s Feral.

In Cisterna, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza rallied for a 3–1 victory after dropping the opening set. Mandiraci led Piacenza with 22 points and six aces, while Gutierrez added 19. Guzzo and Lanza reached double figures for Cisterna in the loss.

The weekend opened with Modena’s 3–1 home win Saturday over Cucine Lube Civitanova.

Monday’s Padova–Monza match will close the penultimate round of the regular season’s first half, with three important points at stake.
