ITA W: Coppa Italia Quarterfinals Confirmed

Italian Serie A1 Tigotà reached its midway point today, confirming the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa quarterfinal pairings after 13 rounds. Conegliano will meet Bergamo, Scandicci faces Vallefoglia, Chieri takes on Busto Arsizio and Novara hosts Milano in the headline matchup. All quarterfinals will be single elimination on Dec. 29–30 at the higher seed’s venue.

Chieri secured a landmark third-place finish with a 3–0 sweep of Perugia, powered by 17 points each from Kunzler and Németh. Cekulaev added 11 and was named MVP.

Novara jumped past Milano into fourth after beating Firenze 3–0, earning home-court advantage. Tolok led with 21 points, supported by Ishikawa and Herbots in a controlled offensive performance.

Busto Arsizio rallied from a first-set loss to top San Giovanni in Marignano 3–1, cementing sixth place. Obossa struck for 22 points, while MVP Gennari contributed key momentum off the bench.

Vallefoglia closed the day with a 3–1 win over Cuneo, claiming seventh place and helping Bergamo retain eighth. Ungureanu scored 14 as MVP, and Bici finished with 19.

The eight qualified teams now advance to the knockout stage, aiming for a berth in the Coppa Italia Finals in Turin.
