Wash4Green Monviso Volley’s search for the first win of the season continued after a 3–1 loss to Igor Gorgonzola Novara.
Novara opened with a 25-20 win before Monviso pulled level by taking the second set 25-20. The hosts regained control with a 25-21 victory in the third and closed out the match 25-23 despite a late push from Monviso.
Alsmeier was named MVP with 18 points, while teammate Tolok led all scorers with 20. Monviso’s Davyskiba finished with 16 points, and middle blockers Akrari and Dodson added 10 and 14 points respectively.
