ITA W: Three Tie-Break Matches Mark Latest Round

The A1 Tigotà 14th round produced several close contests, with three matches decided in tie-breaks.

Igor Gorgonzola Novara earned a 3–1 home win over Omag-MT San Giovanni in Marignano, recovering after losing the first set to take the match in four. Tolok led Novara with 26 points and was named MVP.

Megabox Vallefoglia again defeated Bartoccini Perugia in five sets, matching the result from the first half of the season. Vallefoglia took the opening two sets, saw Perugia rally, and then closed out the tie-break 15–11.

CBF Balducci HR Macerata also repeated its earlier result, beating Cuneo Granda Volley in five sets. Diop scored 28 points as Macerata claimed its first victory after seven matches.

In the late match, Numia Vero Volley Milano edged Bergamo in five sets after more than two hours of play. Egonu scored 24 points to become the league’s all-time leading scorer, while Bergamo’s Kipp led all players with 34 points.
