Igor Gorgonzola Novara staged a thrilling comeback to beat Uyba Busto Arsizio in five sets, headlining an eventful round in Italy’s Women’s Serie A1. After dropping the first two sets, Novara found momentum from the third onward and sealed the derby in the tie-break, completing one of the weekend’s most dramatic turnarounds.

Numia Vero Volley Milano delivered a commanding performance at home, sweeping Chieri in straight sets to underline their title credentials. Milano controlled the match from start to finish, never allowing their opponents to find rhythm.

Champions Conegliano also claimed a solid road win against Cuneo, while Scandicci continued their strong form with a comfortable straight-sets victory away to Perugia.

In matches affecting the lower half of the table, San Giovanni in Marignano boosted their survival hopes with a 3–1 home win over Bergamo, while Vallefoglia edged Firenze in four sets. Macerata closed out the round by defeating Monviso Volley in a tight five-set contest.
