Coppa Italia M: Trentino, Verona, Piacenza and Perugia Advance to Final Four

The quarterfinal round of the Del Monte Coppa Italia SuperLega concluded and the lineup for the Final Four is completed.

Rana Verona, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and Sir Susa Scai Perugia join Itas Trentino, setting the stage for the Final Four scheduled fot the weekend on 7 and 8 February 2026 at the Unipol Arena.

Rana Verona once again made full use of home advantage, dispatching Allianz Milano in straight sets. Verona built their success around a relentless serve game, finishing with 11 aces, six of them from Darlan Ferreira Souza. In attack, Verona were equally effective, posting the best efficiency of the quarterfinals at 60.9%, with Noumory Keita and Darlan combining for 33 points to drive the team into a second consecutive Final Four.

Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza also impressed in front of their own supporters, winning an intense four-set derby against Valsa Group Modena. Turkish outside hitter Ramazan Efe Mandiraci delivered a decisive performance, closing the match as the top scorer of the round with 21 points. Piacenza dominated at the net with 12 winning blocks, the highest total among the quarterfinalists, highlighted by Francesco Comparoni’s seven blocks and 13 points from the middle. The contest proved to be the longest of the round, stretching to 1 hour and 51 minutes.

Sir Susa Scai Perugia sealed the final place in Bologna by ending the cup run of defending champions Cucine Lube Civitanova. After splitting the opening two sets, Perugia took control through greater attacking precision, with Wassim Ben Tara recording 16 successful attacks, the most in the quarterfinals. Civitanova finished with the best reception numbers of the round, but were unable to extend their title defense.

Already through to the Final Four were Itas Trentino, who secured early qualification with a swift straight-sets win over Vero Volley Monza. That match was the quickest of the quarterfinals, completed in 1 hour and 14 minutes.

The semifinal schedule in Bologna will see Trentino face Piacenza on Saturday afternoon, followed by Verona against Perugia in the evening.
