A convincing performance from Numia Vero Volley Milano saw the Lombard side collect all three points on the road against Cbf Balducci Hr Macerata. Milano set the tone early, making life difficult for the hosts with a disciplined block and well-organized defense. While Macerata stayed competitive, especially in the opening phases, Milano’s greater consistency proved decisive.

The visitors edged the first two sets before accelerating in the third, where Akimova’s entrance added pace and confidence to the attack. Supported by Piva and Kurtagic, Milano pulled away to close the match in straight sets. Piva’s steady contribution throughout the contest earned her MVP recognition, as Milano started the year with good momentum.

Equally significant was the result in Perugia, where Honda Cuneo Granda Volley claimed a hard-fought 3–0 win over Bartoccini Mc Restauri Perugia. Despite the scoreline, the match was anything but straightforward. Perugia repeatedly found themselves ahead late in each set, only to see their advantage slip away under pressure.

Cuneo stayed composed in the crucial moments, turning each set around with determination and mental strength. Diop led the charge with a standout performance, finishing as the match’s top scorer and earning MVP honors after guiding her team through three tense finishes.
