A packed Pala BigMat witnessed a thrilling night of volleyball as Savino Del Bene Volley edged out Igor Gorgonzola Novara in a dramatic five-set clash on Saturday, winning 3–2 after more than two hours of intense play.

Scandicci looked in full control early, taking the first two sets with confidence and precision. Novara, however, refused to surrender. The visitors fought back with determination, claiming the third set convincingly and snatching the fourth after a tense battle that went to extra points, pushing the match into a decisive tie-break.
The final set was a test of nerves. With both teams locked together until 11–11, Scandicci found the edge thanks to a series of crucial blocks and calm attacking plays. A decisive finish from Caterina Bosetti sealed the 15–11 tie-break and sent the home crowd into celebration.
The standout performer of the night was Emma Graziani, named MVP after stepping in early due to an injury and delivering an outstanding performance at the net.
