More than 12,300 spectators filled the arena, setting a new attendance record for a women’s Coppa Italia semifinal and underlining the growing appeal of the women’s game. The final, a repeat of last December’s Club World Championship showdown, will be played on Sunday at 3:00 pm local time.

Conegliano were first to seal their ticket, cruising past Igor Gorgonzola Novara with a commanding 3–0 win. While Novara relied heavily on Tolok’s scoring output, Conegliano spread the workload effectively, with Haak leading the way and Gabi earning MVP honors thanks to her all-round performance.

The second semifinal delivered drama and intensity. Scandicci survived a thrilling five-set battle against hosts Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76, eventually prevailing 15–8 in the tie-break. Backed by a passionate home crowd, Chieri pushed the world champions to the limit, but Scandicci found an extra gear in the decisive moments. Skinner starred against her former club with 21 points and the MVP award, while Antropova and Németh finished as joint top scorers with 25 points each.

With two semifinal victories of very different character, the stage is now set for a highly anticipated final between the season’s standout teams, promising another chapter in a fast-growing rivalry at the top of Italian women’s volleyball.
