Numia Vero Volley Milano were equally dominant away to Firenze, overwhelming the hosts at the net and never allowing the match to settle. Volley Bergamo 1991 stayed on course with a clean 3–0 victory in Perugia, using serve pressure and blocking to pull clear in each set.
The night’s tightest contest unfolded in Chieri, where Savino Del Bene Scandicci once again prevailed over Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76 in five sets. As in the Coppa Italia days earlier, the visitors held their nerve in the tie-break to snatch the win.
