The 19th round of the SuperLega Credem Banca delivered clear signals at both ends of the table.

Cucine Lube Civitanova stole the spotlight on Sunday night by sweeping Rana Verona in straight sets on a sold-out court, confirming their strong momentum away from home. Meanwhile, league leaders Sir Susa Scai Perugia showed their grit in Padua, grinding out a 3–1 win that allowed them to stretch their lead at the top of the standings.
At home, Itas Trentino, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, and Valsa Group Modena all delivered convincing victories, closing out a round that reinforced the current balance of power before the Italian Cup break.
Perugia’s success in Padua did not come easily. The champions were forced into a physical four-set battle but held firm in key moments to secure three valuable points and move five clear of Verona. Civitanova’s win was far more straightforward, as they controlled the tempo throughout and never allowed Verona to find rhythm.
Trentino also impressed in front of their fans, overcoming a brief scare in the second set before sealing a straight-sets win over Cuneo. Piacenza and Modena followed a similar script, both asserting control early and maintaining it through disciplined, efficient play.
The round had opened on Saturday with Vero Volley Monza’s away win at Grottazzolina, a result that tightened Monza’s grip on eighth place while leaving the hosts with only slim hopes of survival.
