Coppa Italia: Trento and Verona book final spots

Itas Trentino and Rana Verona advanced to the Del Monte® Coppa Italia SuperLega final after semifinal victories at a sold-out Unipol Arena.

Verona swept past Sir Susa Vim Perugia 3–0 (25–19, 25–21, 25–19), delivering a composed and physical performance throughout. Noumory Keita led all scorers for Verona with 17 points, while Darlan added 13. Perugia were led by Wassim Ben Tara, who finished with 13 points in the loss.

In the first semifinal, Trento edged Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza 3–2 (25–21, 16–25, 23–25, 25–22, 15–11) in a tightly contested match. Théo Faure topped Trento’s scoring with 24 points, supported by
Alessandro Bristot with 15, while Piacenza’s Alessandro Bovolenta recorded a match-high 23 points.

Verona reach the Coppa Italia final for the second consecutive season as they continue their search for a first major title, while Trento return to the final stage for the first time in 13 years, looking to add another Coppa Italia trophy to their history.
