Cucine Lube Civitanova continued playoff run with a straight-sets victory over Itas Trentino, winning 3–0 (25–22, 25–14, 25–20) in Game 2 of the SuperLega Credem Banca quarterfinals.

The win puts Civitanova up 2–0 in the best-of-five series, leaving Trentino needing a win in Game 3 to stay alive. Alex Nikolov led the home side with 19 points, while Mattia Bottolo, who was named MVP, added 13 points. For Trentino, Jordi Ramon was the top scorer with 13 points.
Trentino competed closely in the first and third sets but struggled in the second set and could not overcome the absence of injured outside hitters Alessandro Michieletto and Daniele Lavia.
Game 3 will be played Wednesday, March 18, in Trento.
