
Prosecco Doc A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano booked their place in the Serie A1 Tigotà Scudetto Final after defeating Igor Gorgonzola Novara 3-1 at the Palaverde, completing a 3-0 sweep in the semifinal series. The result marks Conegliano’s tenth final appearance, and eighth consecutive, as they await the winner of the matchup between Savino Del Bene Scandicci and Numia Vero Volley Milano.
Novara made a strong start, taking the opening set 25-18 by exploiting Conegliano’s errors from the service line. However, the hosts responded in the second set, improving their reception and attacking rhythm to level the match 25-20, led by Gabi.
The decisive moment came in the third set, where Novara held multiple set points but failed to convert. Conegliano capitalized, with Sarah Fahr’s blocking and Isabelle Haak’s scoring proving crucial in a 28-26 turnaround. In the fourth set, despite late pressure from Novara, Conegliano held firm to close the match 25-23.
Gabi and Haak led the scoring with 20 points each, while Fahr added 14 points and earned MVP honors, including five blocks. For Novara, Ishikawa scored 14 points, with Alsmeier and Herbots contributing 13 apiece.
Conegliano’s superiority at the net (9 blocks to 3) and composure in key moments proved decisive, despite Novara recording more aces (7-2).
Game 1 of the Scudetto Final is scheduled for April 11 in Villorba.
