Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano claimed a dramatic 3-2 win over Numia Vero Volley Milano in Game 1 of the Serie A1 Tigotà Finals, edging a high-intensity battle at a sold-out Palaverde to move ahead in the series.

The hosts made a strong start, with Monica De Gennaro anchoring the defense and Isabelle Haak leading the attack to secure the first set 25-20. Milano reacted well, raising their blocking level and leaning on Paola Egonu to take the second set 27-25.
Milano continued to push in the third, as Egonu and Rebecca Piva guided the visitors to a 25-20 win and a 2-1 lead. Conegliano responded under pressure in the fourth, with Haak and Sarah Fahr driving a late comeback to level the match at 2-2 with a 27-25 set victory.
In the tie-break, Milano held the early advantage, but Conegliano stayed composed at key moments. Fahr’s decisive ace and Haak’s finishing touch turned the set around before a Milano serve error sealed the 15-13 result. Haak finished as top scorer with 28 points, while De Gennaro earned MVP honors. Egonu led Milano with 19 points.
Conegliano leads the series 1-0, with Game 2 set for April 15 in Milan.
