The powerful opposite, who became one of Europe’s top stars during her time in Scandicci, shared a heartfelt message on social media reflecting on her journey since arriving at the club in 2021 as a teenager.

“Here I grew up, got my driver’s license, graduated from school, became Italian, and became the woman I am today,” Antropova wrote in her farewell post.

The 23-year-old explained that she arrived in Scandicci as “a lost young girl” entering a new world but quickly found trust, support, and the freedom to express herself on and off the court. Over the next five years, she developed into one of the leading scorers in international volleyball while helping the club secure major titles, including the CEV Cup, Challenge Cup, and the FIVB Club World Championship.

Antropova reserved special thanks for her teammates, describing the locker room as a place where lifelong relationships were formed.

“I learned by watching incredible champions both on and off the court,” she said. “Sometimes in sport you spend only one season with someone, but they remain with you forever. That is the true value of a team.”

She also praised the club’s staff and management for their professionalism and support throughout her development, saying they helped raise her standards both as an athlete and as a person.

The 23-year-old also thanked her teammates, coaches, and club staff for their support and professionalism throughout her journey.

According to reports, Antropova will continue her career with Turkish powerhouse Eczacıbaşı Dynavit from the 2026/27 season.
