The 2025/26 Serie A1 Tigotà season concluded with record-breaking performances from some of women’s volleyball’s biggest stars, led by Ekaterina Antropova and Paola Egonu.
Egonu finished as the league’s top scorer for the fifth time in her career after totaling 564 points for Numia Vero Volley Milano. Antropova followed with 484 points for Savino Del Bene Scandicci, while Anett Nemeth of Chieri placed third with 465.
Antropova also made league history by becoming the first non-middle blocker to lead Serie A1 in blocks since official statistics began in 2000. The Scandicci opposite recorded 66 blocks and also topped the ace rankings with 50, earning the best server title for a fourth straight season.
Milano’s Anna Danesi ranked second in blocking with 63, ahead of Anna Gray of Chieri with 57.
In reception, Eleonora Fersino was named the league’s top libero after posting a 43.9% perfect reception rate, finishing ahead of Brenda Castillo and Giorgia Caforio.
