“I am a little bit sorry for not playing with the national team, because I never quarreled with Barbolini. Maybe they do not consider that I am good enough to be a libero in the team, which means that I should work harder to improve.”
Leonardi, that studies law, also commented on her future: “I see myself as a lawyer, married with two or three children, but I still want to play volleyball for a few years. When I enter the court, I cannot think of anything else apart from this most beutiful thing in life. Sport is very important to me and thanks to it I have learned to live with other people and I learned to lose. I had many disappointments but also many joys. I like volleyball beacause it makes you improve in all aspects and because everyone has to fight for the same goal.”
