After presentations in style and bombastic announcements of Copra Ardelia Piacenza’s management for this season, who spoke of long-term projects and the objective of returning to winning, not only in Italy but also in Europe in a very short time, it seems the marriage between Copra and Ardelia that has just been celebrated and in fact even consumed, is already broken.

President Guido Molinaroli prefers not to intervene directly on the matter and responds with the classic “No comment” that sounds better than a direct confirmation.

It seems that Ardelia has not fulfilled its obligations and to this day, in this early stage of the season, the company has not been able to deliver money required for the payments of transferred players. Technical problems or lack of liquidity? We will have to wait some time yet to get a definitive answer.

Dario Ruggieri, the majority shareholder with 51 percent, and Guido Molinaroli, historic patron of Copra Volley who currently owns 49 percent of the company, have met frequently in recent days, the last time at the end of the friendly between Copra Ardelia and Friedrichshafen, three days ago.
