Lube Macerata
Probably very few people expected the team from Macerata, although so far in the Italian championship was unbeaten, to win extremely strong Piacenza without dropping a set.
Both teams, few days ago, played five-setters in the Champions League and, it seems, that it left much more consequences on Piacenza.
Giulio Sabbi with 13 and Jiří Kovář with 12 points led Lube, while in Piacenza only Hristo Zlatanov was in the mood (11 points). No one but him had double-digits among the guests.
