Francesca Piccinini
Seventeen years later, Francesca Piccinini is still a member of the same team and still at the top of the league. For the first time Modena has leaders at the table in both competitions – Liu Jo in women’s and Modena Volley in men’s.
Piccinini played in the Italian championship as a middle blocker, receiver and libero, she played when the ball was white to the colored one, when two points were given for any win to two points for 3-2 win… From winning a world title in 2002, up to the 4th place at the World Championships 2014.
