Trentino – Roeselare
Trentino was on the way to demolish Roeselare since it had 2-0 lead in sets – 25-22, 25-18.
Belgian team reset after that and played perfectly in the third set – 25-19.
Fourth set looked like the battle of titans and lasted half an hour. Roeselare took it by 26-24!
Tie-break had to determine the winner and it was Trentino – 15-11!
Still, Roeselare goes home for the second leg with good chances to make it to the Golden Set and maybe semifinals. Trentino remains favorite to qualify to the semis.
Filippo Lanza had 22 while Matey Kaziyski added 16 for Trentino. Hendrik Tuerlinckx scored 27 for Roeselare. Matthijs Verhanneman contributed with 17.
