It was a tie-break thriller with many turnarounds. Trentino was on the edge of victory with two points more in the very finish of the fifth set – 13:11. However, Zaksa managed to tie the game at 13:13, and then to save three match points – 14:13, 15:14, 16:15. Home side then went in front at 17:16 and had a chance to finish the match, However, Italians scored next three points and seized a very important win. Matey Kaziyski was the one who performed the final spike. STATS
The rematch is scheduled for March 28.
Recall that in the other semi-final, Dinamo Moscow defeated Asse Lennik.
