In a packed “PalaRadi” hall, the players coached by Davide Mazzanti completely overturned the match after losing 0-1 in sets.
From 31-29 in the second set that marked 1-1, Casalmaggiore, contrary to Game 1, maintained high quality and intensity until the final 3-1 in sets.
The series now returns to Novara, on Saturday, May 9. What is certain is that the spectacular duel will continue at least until Game 4.
Valentina Tirozzi was the leading scorer in Casalmaggiore with 19. Alexandra Klineman had 24 points in Novara.
