Meijners
The Dutch outside hitter/receiver didn’t finish the match of Italian championship against Imoco Volley Conegliano, last weekend. Meijners left the court in the first set. Preliminary tests showed a calf strain, but the injury will be closely evaluated by MRI in the coming days.
She will certainly skip one match of her team. Meijners won’t be in the squad for the CEV Champions League match against Entente Sportive Cannet-Rocheville Volley-Ball at home court, on Thursday. Just like Piacenza, she will rest next weekend in Serie A1.
The return of Dutch player should occur on December 2, when Piacenza plays against Foppapedretti Bergamo.
